Little Miss Apple Blossom Contest

The Cleveland Apple Festival™ presents
the Little Miss Apple Blossom Contest!

Girls 5-10 years of age are invited this year to compete for the titles of Little Miss Apple Blossom and Jr. Miss Apple Blossom. Each contestant will need to dress in their best farm or country girl outfit. Judging will be based on costume and presentation.

The contest is Sunday, Oct.19th with Dress Rehearsal is at 2 PM with the contest at 3 PM.

There will be 2 age divisions: 5-7 years and 8-10 years. Cost to enter is $10 per contestant.

• The grand prize for each age bracket is $75 and a trophy.
• Runner up prize for each age bracket is a $30 Gift Certificate to Toys R Us and a trophy.

Little Miss Apple Blossom and Jr. Miss Apple Blossom Rules

1. Contestants for the Little Miss Apple Blossom must be between 5 and 7 years of age and for the Jr. Miss Apple Blossom must be between the ages of 8-10 years by the actual date of the pageant (Sunday, October 19th 2008 ) Proof of age may be requested.
   
2. Contestants must purchase a child's ticket to attend the festival on the day of the pageant. The actual contest takes place Sunday, October 19th at 3pm. Contestants must sign in at the contest table by 2pm and attend a dress rehearsal.
   
3. Contestants are required to have a sponsor (business or family) who will pay a $10.00 entry fee. Please make checks payable to The Cleveland Apple Festival™
   
4. Contestant agrees to a) be interviewed on stage by our Master of Ceremonies during pageant day b) to appear in a farmer type or country style outfit c) participate in a pre-pageant judges chat with all Little Miss and Jr. Miss contestants;
   
5. Contestant agrees that the decision of the judges is final.
   
6. No make-up allowed at this age level. Hair must be age appropriate.
   
7. All contestants must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian during all contest proceedings.
   
8. There will be one grand prize and title awarded in each age bracket. There will also be one runner up prize in each age bracket.

10. Runner up prize for each age bracket is a $30 Gift Certificate to Toys R Us and a trophy.
    
11. All contestants by entering, agree to allow The Cleveland Apple Festival™ and/or it sponsors to use their likeness and names for publicity purposes relating to the festival and/or Little Miss and Jr. Miss Contest.
    
12. Immediate family members of employees or directors of The Cleveland Apple Festival™ cannot enter this contest. The Cleveland Apple Festival™ reserves the right to limit the contestants should the amount of entries become larger than can feasible be judged by the judging panel in the allotted time.
